The 4th of July was indeed a special event at The Grand Marketplace. Everyone from the Mayor of Willingboro to the Governer of New Jersey was present at The Grand Marketplace on Independence Day 2009. Although the event was hosted by The Grand Marketplace it was organized by the Willingboro July 4th Celebration Committee.

In honor of Indepoendence day, Governer Corzine made a presence at the the Grand Marketplace to sign a Bill and The Willingboro July 4th Celebration Committee organized a drop off care pacakge donation drive for American Troops overseas. The Grand Marketplace also had an outdoor venue filled with games, activities, food, and outdoor vending.
